Acupuncture
Traditional Acupuncture’s development in China evolved over nearly 2000 years. It looks at the body as a whole or “Holistically“. A practitioner looks for signs of illness where the body is out of balance. The principle behind acupuncture is to restore the balance of energy with the body as a whole.
Acupuncturists use specific techniques developed and refined over many centuries. Moreover, every patient is unique. For example, under Western Medicine, two people with the same illness or condition might be provided with the same treatment. With Acupuncture, they might receive very different treatments that are unique to them.
Also, Acupuncture looks at the body’s Qi or vital energy. If it is flowing freely, you will be well. Inhibited Qi will cause pain and illness. This can also be due to a range of issues. These include Emotional Problems, Stress, Nutrition and, of course, infection or injury to the body. The energy can then flow freely.
Acupuncture Needles:
Also, treatment involves the insertion of excellent needles into precise points on the body. The purpose of these needles is to restart the flow of QI. The result is that the body starts its own healing processes, and the problems start to heal.
